Ocular Drug Delivery
With aging populations, eye diseases are becoming ever more common. Direct drug delivery to the interior of the eye allows for treating diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments, allowing for improved and faster recovery. Powerscope is currently involved in a preclinical trial to improve the outcome of retinal detachments by filling the eye with an aerosolized drug following surgery.
