Powerscope was founded in 2001 by Dr. Amir Naqwi with the mission to develop, manufacture and market advanced tools to enhance the productivity of industrial processes and to improve the health and comfort of people.

Powerscope has obtained several government grants for it innovative Research and Development work, which is leading to successful commercial products. Located near the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities campus, Powerscope maintains a productive working relationship with both academia and local high-tech industries. Powerscope is continually seeking to expand its technology base in order to advance its mission by developing and commercializing new instrumentation.
